Let us be a happy warriors for Jesus.

Be a Happy Warrior.
A dull, negative pessimistic warrior is a negation the message of Jesus.
I believe Jesus was a happy warrior.  He was often accused of being a glutton and drunkard because He celebrated life as compared to the dour sects who fasted and looked empty and bedraggled as they fought against the ways of the world.  His disciples stood up in the midst of the town that crucified Jesus and were very confident.
I remember what Luke wrote:
Acts 4.
13-14 They couldn’t take their eyes off them—Peter and John standing there so confident, so sure of themselves! Their fascination deepened when they realized these two were laymen with no training in Scripture or formal education. They recognized them as companions of Jesus, but with the man right before them, seeing him standing there so upright—so healed!—what could they say against that? (The Message)
Paul put it this way,
Philippians 4.
4-5 Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!
6-7 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (The Message)
