1.9-When something very sad happens get away into nature and let is speak to your soul and heal you.

Matthew 4. 12  When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee. 13  Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali— 14  to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah: 15  “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,      the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan,      Galilee of the Gentiles— 16  the people living in darkness      have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death      a light has dawned.” [ f ] 17  From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Psalm 8 Psalm 8 [ a ] For the director of music. According to gittith. [ b ] A psalm of David. 1  Lord , our Lord,      how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory      in the ...

Why Does God Answer some prayers for healing "Yes" and not others?

Why Does God Answer some prayers for healing "Yes" and not others?  I don't know. Jesus, He did the impossible. He cleansed the leper. He can and does cleanse us of sin, guilt and shame. He works long distance. He can use people praying together over many miles distance. He can use outsiders. He can take a fevered person and turn them into a fever free person. He carries away our infirmities. He heals our diseases. He uses well trained and equipped doctors and nurses. He uses atheist doctors who don't believe God exists to heal people created in God's image. He trains His followers that nothing worthwhile is accomplished without sacrifices. Training in medicine is a tremendous sacrifice. The work of medicine for doctors and nurses is 24/7/365 work and very draining for those who care. God uses them to heal folks. When we learn there is a major or even minor illness there is a storm in our hearts. Jesus calms the storm. Healing has a cos...

1.8-God leads His children into places of danger. Why? To bring glory to His name and to help people.

Matthew 4. 4  Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted [ a ] by the devil. 2  After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3  The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” 4  Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ [ b ] ” 5  Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6  “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “‘He will command his angels concerning you,      and they will lift you up in their hands,      so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ [ c ] ” 7  Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ [ d ] ” 8  Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all ...

1.7-People who know God are honest to understand there is a sowing and reaping. You reap what you sow.

Matthew 3. 3  In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea 2  and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” 3  This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord,      make straight paths for him.’” [ a ] 4  John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. 5  People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan. 6  Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. 7  But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8  Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. 9  And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ ...

-1.6-"De Nile" is not a river in Egypt. Confession of the truth of our lives can lead to prayer and connection with God the great healer.

Psalm 6 [ a ] For the director of music. With stringed instruments. According to sheminith. [ b ] A psalm of David. 1  Lord , do not rebuke me in your anger      or discipline me in your wrath. 2  Have mercy on me, Lord , for I am faint;      heal me, Lord , for my bones are in agony. 3  My soul is in deep anguish.      How long, Lord , how long? 4  Turn, Lord , and deliver me;      save me because of your unfailing love. 5  Among the dead no one proclaims your name.      Who praises you from the grave? 6  I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping      and drench my couch with tears. 7  My eyes grow weak with sorrow;      they fail because of all my foes. 8  Away from me, all you who do evil,      for the Lord has heard my w...

-1.5-People are aweful. God's love and grace are awesome. When men hate and kill the refuge must be God.

Psalm 5 [ a ] For the director of music. For pipes. A psalm of David. 1  Listen to my words, Lord ,      consider my lament. 2  Hear my cry for help,      my King and my God,      for to you I pray. 3  In the morning, Lord , you hear my voice;      in the morning I lay my requests before you      and wait expectantly. 4  For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;      with you, evil people are not welcome. 5  The arrogant cannot stand      in your presence. You hate all who do wrong; 6       you destroy those who tell lies. The bloodthirsty and deceitful      you, Lord , detest. 7  But I, by your great love,      can come into your house; in reverence I bow down      toward your holy temple. 8...

-1.4-Can You Imagine the distress of having charge of the Christ child whom the king wants to kill?

Psalm 4. Psalm 4 [ a ] For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of David. 1  Answer me when I call to you,      my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress;      have mercy on me and hear my prayer. 2  How long will you people turn my glory into shame?      How long will you love delusions and seek false gods [ b ] ? [ c ] 3  Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself;      the Lord hears when I call to him. 4  Tremble and [ d ] do not sin;      when you are on your beds,      search your hearts and be silent. 5  Offer the sacrifices of the righteous      and trust in the Lord . 6  Many, Lord , are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?”      Let the light of your face shine on us. 7  Fill my heart with joy ...

-1.3-My foes say God will not deliver him. I cry out to God. God sends Jesus to be my shepherd and protector.

Psalm 3 [ a ] A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom. 1  Lord , how many are my foes!      How many rise up against me! 2  Many are saying of me,      “God will not deliver him.” [ b ] 3  But you, Lord , are a shield around me,      my glory, the One who lifts my head high. 4  I call out to the Lord ,      and he answers me from his holy mountain. 5  I lie down and sleep;      I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. 6  I will not fear though tens of thousands      assail me on every side. 7  Arise, Lord !      Deliver me, my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw;      break the teeth of the wicked. 8  From the Lord comes deliverance.      May your blessing be on your people. Matthew 2. 2  After Jesus was born in Bethleh...
