Matthew 15. 21  Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22  And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” 23  But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.” 24  But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25  Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” 26  But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” 27  And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” 28  Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Matthew 15. 15  Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, 2  “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.” 3  He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4  For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; [ a ] and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ [ b ] 5  But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God ”— 6  then he need not honor his father or mother.’ [ c ] Thus you have made the commandment [ d ] of God of no effect by your tradition. 7  Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: 8  ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And [ e ] honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9  And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments

Matthew 14. 22  Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23  And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. It is I; do not be afraid.” 28  And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29  So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30  But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, [ b ] he was afraid; and beginnin

Matthew 14. 13  When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. 14  And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. 15  When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.” 16  But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” 17  And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” 18  He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19  Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. 20  So they all ate and were filled, and
