4.18- Knowledge of God’s ways has a snowball effect.   The more you learn the more you want to learn.    The more you learn the more you understand.   The more you understand the more you realize that that there are many things beyond human understanding. Matthew 13. 10  And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11  [ d ] Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. 12  For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. 13  Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14  [ e ] In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘ [ f ] You will keep on hearing , [ g ] but will not understand ;...

4.17-Jesus was a Do Gooder. The best of all. Thank God for the many ways that the poor have been helped in the depression days, the days of the recession of 2008 and the time of the Corona virus of 2020. Acts 10. 34  Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, 35  but in every nation the man who [ y ] fears Him and [ z ] does what is right is welcome to Him. 36  The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching [ aa ] peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all)— 37  you yourselves know the thing which took place throughout all Judea, starting from Galilee, after the baptism which John proclaimed. 38 [ ab ] You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, [ ac ] and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39  We are witnesses of all the things He did both in the [ ad ] l...

4.16- Those who know God know that He is tuned into the prayers of the needy. He is good and abundant in lovingkindness toward them. He answers the hungry like no one else. In the days of their trouble they call upon God and He answers them like no one else. God is great and does wondrous deeds. Men and women who are not even members of any religion but have a heart of compassion will give to the poor with compassion. God sees this from heaven and blesses them though they are not a member of any religion. God then brings blessings to those who bless the poor. Acts 10. 10  Now there was a man at Caesarea named Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian [ a ] cohort, 2  a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, and gave many [ b ] alms to the Jewish people and prayed to God continually. 3  About the [ c ] ninth hour of the day he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God who had just come in and said to him, “Cornelius!” 4  ...
