4.11- It’s Saturday. I’m crying, but tomorrow will be better.

4.11- It’s Saturday. I’m crying, but tomorrow will be better. I’m crying because the mother of a beautiful five year old died of a brain tumor. She was a fighter and a beautiful Christian wife and mother and had hundreds of people begging God, our healer to heal her. Still Miranda Self died. It’s Saturday. I’m crying, but tomorrow will be better. I’m crying because the most powerful Christian wordsmith I have read in a long time died. She was a wife and mother also. She was busy changing an unchangeable 2020 old movement and doing so successfully. Still Rachel Held Evans died. It’s Saturday. I’m crying, but tomorrow will be better. I’m crying because an outstanding Christian daughter, friend and school teacher who loved God and her students died. My niece was strong and healthy and a month later she was dead. In a country with excellent medical resources with a full life of service to her students, her church and her family.   Still Gena Wishard...

4.11-we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”

4.11- Today I am reminded by Scripture that Jesus is my brother and He is not ashamed to call me His brother. He wants me to know the love that the Father in heaven has for Him and to keep this love in my heart. Jesus’ family tree includes a man named “Jehosphaphat” who prayed a special prayer which I want to mention here. “Our Father in heaven, ruler over all kingdoms of the nations, power and might are in your hand and no one can withstand you…If calamity comes upon us, whether s word of judgement or plague or famine.. We will stand in your presence…and will cry out to you in our distress and you will hear us and save us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you. We have been reminded that we should not be afraid or discouraged for the battle is not ours, but Your’s.” In Jesus’ Name Amen 2 Chronicles 20. 5  Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord before the new court, 6  and he said, “O Lord , the G...

4.10- You can know the truth and the truth will set you free.

4.10- You can know the truth and the truth will set you free. If you choose to believe lies it will reduce your life. If doctors say, "Wash your hands for 20 seconds, Don't shake hands, Stay away from sick people, Stay six feet apart, Travel as little as possible, Stay inside." Do not assemble in groups outside your family. Your view of being a Christian is do the opposite of what main stream media tells you. You go to church and shake hands, hug, and salute one another with a holy kiss. You do the opposite. You drop holy water on your hands from your jet owning televangelist. You carry your good luck wooden cross and go to play basketball in the park. You have gone through doing the opposite of what you heard from the mainstream media. You are being foolish expecting God to rescue you from your own foolishness. Satan tempted Jesus once. He told Jesus to jump off the pinnacle of the temple. He quoted a Bible verse to Jesus. Jesus answere...

4.9- The way humans were created included free will choice.

4.9- The way humans were created included free will choice.   Adam and Eve were given freedom to eat of all the trees in the garden but there was one that God told them not to eat of.    But both Adam and   Eve chose to disobey God and eat of it.   There is something about human nature that includes rebellion.   The more we are aware of a law about something the more we want to do it.   Paul wrote it this way: Romans 7. 7  What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except [ e ] through the Law; for I would not have known about [ f ] coveting if the Law had not said, “ You shall not [ g ] covet .” 8  But sin, taking opportunity through the commandment, produced in me [ h ] coveting of every kind; for apart [ i ] from the Law sin is dead. 9  I was once alive apart [ j ] from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin became alive and I died; 10  and this...

4.8- Vulnerability heals.

4.8- Vulnerability heals.  The more we are real.  The more we are open about our wounds in life the more we make connections with Jesus Christ and others.  Our wound heal others as Christ wounds heal us. 1 Peter 2. 21  For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, 22  who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth ; 23  [ w ] and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24  and He Himself [ x ] bore our sins in His body on the [ y ] cross, so that we might die to [ z ] sin and live to righteousness; for by His [ aa ] wounds you were healed. 25  For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and [ ab ] Guardian of your souls. There is this tendency for us to close up and put up shields arou...

4.7- What are we expecting? Easy times or challenging times?

4.7- What are we expecting?   When we have chosen to be a disciple of Jesus did we expect a smooth life without any conflicts and hard times.   I hope not. We are taught by Scripture to not be surprised at challenging ordeals. The early disciples were able to rejoice when they had trials because it meant they felt they were worthy to handle the difficult things.   Some of them were thankful that the difficulty came to them instead of someone else.   Joy was expressed that it showed that others also could hold up over hard times. We are counseled by Scripture to keep on rejoicing. 1 Peter 4. 12  Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; 13  but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation. 14  If you are reviled [ j ] ...
