The last few days have been filled with many memories of this moment forty seven years ago. We were so young that I had to have my dad sign my marriage license. We had met at ACC (Now ACU) in September of 1966 and now on September 1, 1967, we were married. It had truly been a whirlwind romance. I was country, Sheila was city. I was North Texas, she was South Texas. I like the house to be looked lived-in, she liked it to be neat and straight. I liked to talk alot and loud. She liked to be reserved and speak quietly.
