5.20-Being a disciple of Jesus
When you decide to be a disciple of Jesus there is a promise. You will release control of outcomes and consequences of decisions based on following Him. He promises you might lose somethings, but He will provide all that you need and much of what you want. There is no promise that you will feel no pain, hurt and suffering. In fact you will feel more joy and pain. But, His prediction is that you will not regret your decision to be a sincere disciple of Jesus.
