2.11- Trying today to enjoy this day fully and not worry about tomorrow's problems.

2.11- Trying today to enjoy this day fully and not worry about tomorrow's problems. Throwing all my anxiety on to the great healer and wonderful counselor. Matthew 6. 25  “For this reason I say to you,  [ az ] do not be worried about your  [ ba ] life,  as to  what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body,  as to  what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?   26  Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather  crops  into barns, and  yet  your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?   27  And which of you by worrying can add a single  [ bb ] day to his  [ bc ] life’s span?   28  And why are you worried about clothing? Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin  thread for cloth ,   29  yet I say to you that not e...

2.10- There is something that presents itself as freedom that is in fact slavery.

2.10- There is something that presents itself as freedom that is in fact slavery. The addict says, "My drugs." "The drugs say, "My addict." When true freedom comes to a man or woman they are able to be a servant to those in need of counseling and friendship support. If we have freedom it is best used to help others needing strength to overcome something that has been enslaving them. Our liberty is deepened when we are daily making a free will choice to be servants to others rather than manipulating and bullying them to do what we want. 1 Peter 2. 16  Act  as free people, and  [ s ] do not use your freedom as a  [ t ] covering for evil, but  use it  as bond-servants of God.   17  Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the  [ u ] king. 18  Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are  [ v ] harsh. ...

2.9- A Hobson's choice is: "an apparently free choice when there is no real alternative.

2.9- A Hobson's choice is: "an apparently free choice when there is no real alternative. 2. : the necessity of accepting one of two or more equally objectionable alternatives" There are regrets that come from making poor choices. When people do something wrong to us there are at least two choices. You can call something they did was "good" when it was "bad" for them and others. Denial. Repression. That is a bad choice. The path to less regrets is face the truth. Embrace the truth. Remember to speak the truth in love. Forgive them. Get away from them. Turn it over to God to handle the justice and punishment by the proper authorities at the right time. This allows us to travel light through life with less baggage and regrets. Grudge is sludge. Bitterness is toxic. Matthew 5. 43  “You have heard that it was said, ‘ You shall love your neighbor  and hate your enemy.’   44  But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,   45...

2.9- Home, it went well. Two dips of skin and got it all. Thx. Praise to the great healer. Jesus and His angels. Dr's. Nurses. Jeff has been with me all the way. Philippians 2. 19  But I hope,  [ al ] in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy to you shortly, so that I also may be encouraged when I learn of your condition.   20  For I have no one  else  of kindred spirit who will genuinely be concerned for your welfare.   21  For they all seek after their own  interests , not those of Christ Jesus.   22  But you know of his proven character, that he served with me in the furtherance of the gospel like a child  serving  his father.   23  Therefore I hope to send him immediately, as soon as I see how things  go  with me;   24  and I trust in the Lord that I myself will also be coming shortly.   25  But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphr...

2.8- Facebook has been a good location for learning important news from family and friends.

2.8- Facebook has been a good location for learning important news from family and friends. My hometown, Ladonia, Texas and my schools, Fannindel and Abilene Christian University have been sources of great opportunity for education and prayer support in time of need for our family. Facebool and Instagram have helped me reconnect and keep up with major events. Most have access or family does. Since covid hit on 3.11.20 there have been many groups who have used Facebook and Zoom to keep alive their community which supports them. For this I am thankful for social media. Like the printing press, radio, television, computers, the internet and smart phones they can be used for good or evil. Since I am a teacher I have tried to use all of the to communicate good news. Since 2012, I have tried to post a daily note to send messages to increase the joy of others as well as my own. Many of you have been praying for my skin cancer surgery on my right ear on Monday. 2.5.24, about 8am with Dr. ...
