10.19- Believe God is big and powerful and trust Him.

10.19- Believe God is big and powerful and trust Him. Luke 8. 40  So it was, when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed Him, for they were all waiting for Him. 41  And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. And he fell down at Jesus’ feet and begged Him to come to his house, 42  for he had an only daughter about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as He went, the multitudes thronged Him. 43  Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, 44  came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. 45  And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter [ o ] and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, [ p ] and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” 46  But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” ...

10.18- Forgiven much. Loves much. Forgiven little. Loves little.

10.18- Forgiven much.  Loves much. Forgiven little. Loves little. The more you know God, the more you know perfect holiness.  The better you know Jesus Christ, you know what human love looks like.  You also know how far you fall short of the mark.  With humility you can receive forgiveness and enjoy it and love God and build up your confidence that God loves you and wants the best for you. Luke 7. 36  Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. 37  And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38  and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39  Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke...

10.17- Prayer to God is not affected by distance.

10.17- Prayer to God is not affected by distance.  How far is it to God?  He is inside our hearts.  The Holy Spirit hears the prayer.  God is not off somewhere in the distance.  He is within us.  He is closely around us.  We live in Him. Luke 7. 7  Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. 2  And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. 3  So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. 4  And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, 5  “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.” 6  Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should ente...

10.16- That which you hunger for is what you will get.

10.16- That which you hunger for is what you will get. Blessed are those who hunger for righteousness for they will be filled. Luke 6. 21  Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled. [ e ]

10.15- Do you feel worn out and overwhelmed? Do you need more help?

10.15- Do you feel worn out and overwhelmed?  Do you need more help? Jesus encourages us to ask our Father in heaven for help. Matthew 9. 35  Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease [ i ] among the people. 36  But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were [ j ] weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37  Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38  Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

10.14 God's willing to help us.

10.14 God's willing to help us. As we pray there is an attitude that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Submission. Surrender. Belief in God as our Father. God is God. We are not. There is a big jump forward in our attitudes when we believe in our hearts that God has our best interests in mind. Luke 5. 12  And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and [ b ] implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 13  Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him. 14  And He charged him to tell no one, “But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded.” 15  However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their i...

10.13- When we pray there are some hard conversations.

10.13- When we pray there are some hard conversations. Because we are not God, but we are the children of God we must admit that at times we will cry out for something that we think we desperately need that is actually not according to God's perfect will. Mark 14. 32  Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33  And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. 34  Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” 35  He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. 36  And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will. ” 37  Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one ...
