9.18- It is not the years of your life, but the life of your years.

9.18- It is not the years of your life, but the life of your years. Acts 7. 48  “However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: 49  “‘Heaven is my throne,      and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord.      Or where will my resting place be? 50  Has not my hand made all these things?’ [ l ] 51  “You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!   52  Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him—   53  you who have received the law that was given through angels but have not obeyed it.” The Stoning of Stephen 54  When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were fu...

9.17b- Several outcomes possible when someone is sick.

9.17b- Several outcomes possible when someone is sick. The body can overcome the sickness by its own natural healing powers. Cleaning out the issue through time and proper eating, drinking and rest can accelerate the healing process. A positive attitude and faith in that probable outcome helps. There can be this plus the prayers of righteous men and women. There can be this plus a touch from Jesus, the healer. There can be this outcome, but another outcome is a sickness that precedes a move from earth to the other side. I have met a few people who seemed to be quite healthy physically, but from a spiritual perspective they were already having a kind of life that I would call an Eternal Kind of life. Jesus referred to these people who believed in Him as "having eternal life". These people seem to living in heaven while they are still on earth. They have, present tense, eternal life in their heart and soul. Sheila would refer to these kind of people as “living on the other sid...

9.17- Pressing needs. This is the area where God is working through people.

9.17- Pressing needs. This is the area where God is working through people. Doctors, nurses, counselors, social workers, service workers, coaches, teachers, ministers and leaders of people in industry. Discouragement over family problems or employment problems is a pressing need. When we get involved to help meet pressing needs we are being fruitful because we are joining God is His work and He always is helping people in need. Once Jesus said that the way He impacted people was to see what God the Father in heaven was doing and go to help Him in the work. John 5 19  Jesus gave them this answer:  “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.   20  For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.

9.16- John 1. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

9.16- John 1. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. John 3. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. There are some people who live by the truth and they come into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. These people make a big impact on us for several reasons, but one is because they are so truthful with themselves and others. It can be said that they live by the truth. These people are very brave. Some of them have had hard training in life from childhood. Others have...

9.15- "Grief is the price we pay

9.15- "Grief is the price we pay for love." Queen Elizabeth II John 11. 11  Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.   2  (This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.)   3  So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” 4  When he heard this, Jesus said,  “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”   5  Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.   6  So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days,   7  and then he said to his disciples,  “Let us go back to Judea.” 8  “But Rabbi,” they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you, and yet you are going back?” 9  Jesus answered,  “Are there not t...

9.14- We believe that as we give Jesus provided “water” that with His touch it becomes much more.

9.14- We believe that as we give Jesus provided “water” that with His touch it becomes much more. Those who give it in a humble way will not lose their reward. We believe it is the loving touch with gifts freely given that there is a transformation in attitudes. Think of places, homes offices where you receive blessings unconditionally. You never forget them. John 2. 2  On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,   2  and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.   3  When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” 4  “Woman, [ a ]  why do you involve me?”  Jesus replied.  “My hour has not yet come.” 5  His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” 6  Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. [ b ] 7  Jesus said t...

9.13- Things you will never regret.

9.13- Things you will never regret. 1. Living by the golden rule. Treat people the way you want to be treated. 2. Doing whatever you do with all your heart. 3. Trusting God as a generous loving God who works to make all things work together for good to those who love Him. Matthew 7.   12  So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 22. 34  Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.   35  One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:   36  “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37  Jesus replied:  “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ [ c ]   38  This is the first and greatest commandment.   39  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ [ d ]   40  All the Law and the Prophets ha...

9.12- Regarding death for a child of God according to Jesus.

9.12- Regarding death for a child of God according to Jesus. Jesus doesn’t want us to be troubled about this. Jesus is preparing a place for us to be with Him after this life. 2022 years of Jesus work is based on the reality of life beyond this life. Our hope is in this life and the next one as well. Jesus is the proof that life extends beyond this life. People who have stood with Jesus and for Jesus at the cost of their own life in the arena with lions will not be disappointed at their choice. We live our life as a celebration of all that is good in Jesus, not because there is no future with Jesus after this life. Be careful that the attention you give to the people of this world who don’t believe have more influence on you than Jesus and the people who do believe. Come to your senses and realize that human beings are created by God to live forever. Our earthly bod is perishable and weak. We who are children of God bear the image of Jesus Christ whose tomb is ...
