9.17- When have I felt the deepest love from God and His children? In the moments of my deepest brokeness. Imagine that the ocean was filled with ink. And that every blade of grass was an ink pen. And that every human Was an excellent writer. To write the Love of God above. Would drain the ocean dry. Luke 7 36  Now one of the Pharisees was requesting Him to eat with him, and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined  at the table .   37  And there was a woman in the city who was a  [ w ] sinner; and when she learned that He was reclining  at the table  in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster vial of perfume,   38  and standing behind  Him  at His feet, weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, and  began  kissing His feet and anointing them with the perfume.   39  Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw  this , he said to himself...

9.16- Simple tasks. Make coffee. Empty dish washer. Moving on my own legs and knees and ankles.

9.16- Simple tasks. Make coffee. Empty dish washer. Moving on my own legs and knees and ankles. Using my arms and hands and these words came into my mind. It is well with my soul. When peace like a river attends my way. When sorrow like sea billows roll. Whatever my lot you taught me to say it is well with my soul. Hebrews 13. 13  Let love of the brothers  and  sisters continue.   2  Do not neglect hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.   3  Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them,  and  those who are badly treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.   4  Marriage  is to be held  in honor among all, and the  marriage  bed  is to be  undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.   5  Make sure that  your character is free from the love of money, being content ...

9.15- For thousands of years there have been cemeteries.

9.15- For thousands of years there have been cemeteries. Then about 2023 years ago one was surprisingly empty and this made visits there places of hope. There was one grave that was empty because He is risen. Our family went to Oak Ridge Cemetery yesterday where Sheila's body was buried last year. There we remembered and listened to some music and prayed. It was a good day to be together. Thanks to all of you for prayers for us this year. John 20. 20  Now on the first  day  of the week Mary Magdalene *came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and *saw the stone  already  removed from the tomb.   2  So she *ran and *came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and *said to them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we do not know where they have put Him.”   3  So Peter and the other disciple left, and they were going to the tomb.   4  The two were running together; and the other ...

9.14 Labor day thoughts.

9.14 Labor day thoughts. To do your best work adds beauty to this beautiful world. To do sloppy work adds to the ugliness of this world. 1 Thessalonians 3.   11  and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own  business  and work with your hands, just as we instructed you,   12  so that you will  [ n ] behave properly toward outsiders and  [ o ] not be in any need.

9.13- People have bodies that were created to heal when the skin is broken.

9.13- People have bodies that were created to heal when the skin is broken. Groups of people are called a body also. I got a few scratches this week and one part of my body helped the broken skin part. I cleansed it. I treated gently. I did not over react or under react. They are healing. A body is made to heal. A family is a body of people and so are other groups. When anyone in the group has a broken place, physically, emotionally or spiritually we need to give it special attention. We need to help this person be be cleansed of shame and guilt by setting up the opportunity for complete forgiveness. Acknowledging the truth, repentance and restitution with a desire for justice are important elements. If we acknowledge and do right we can heal from broken to avoid being crushed and destroyed by shame, guilt and division. From a 2,000 year old letter to a body of broken people. "Live in peace with each other. Warn the disruptive. Encourage the disheartened. Help the weak. Be patie...

9.12- My sister, Hazanne, is such a fun blessing to me.

9.12- My sister, Hazanne, is such a fun blessing to me. She is 88 and it hard to imagine all the positive impact for good she has made, but multiply that impact by 42. We counted up her family tribe. They will do greater things than she has done that will extend beyond her life. These people now live and work in London all the way to California. How can you spread love around the world? Be kind to your family. 1 Thessalonians 4.   11  and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own  business  and work with your hands, just as we instructed you,   12  so that you will  [ h ] behave properly toward outsiders and  [ i ] not be in any need.  9.11- There are times in our life as a disciple of Jesus that we have gained strength from God’s grace to be strengthened To spiritually fly on wings like eagles. At other times We are able to run and not get tired, Later we a able to steadily walk and not become weary. There can be times when we can barely get up and crawl. Or be in a Gethsemane times and eventually not even able to move but can only encourage through prayers. But there are also times when disciples can be tempted to become discouraged. So today I pray we can wait on the Lord and gain new strength and keep on with the most important work on earth to help people to get to know Jesus or know Him better. God bless you.
