Hometown people think badly of you and your family.

Day of Year: 53

Date: 2.22.14

Favorite Verse: Matthew 13.55
55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary, and His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

Thought for the day: If you feel that members of your own local community discount you and your family, don't feel you are alone.  Jesus understands.  He will transform your self image as you walk with Him. He was discounted by His hometown.  "This is the carpenter's son."  The meaning was this: 'His wisdom and words are nothing special.'  Allow Jesus to set your value, not the opinions of others. He thought you were precious enough that he was willing to die on the cross to give you freedom from shame and guilt.
