2.2-What to do during a storm?

2.2- If you are a child of God be very attentive during times of stress.   In the midst of storms is often the place where we humbly cry out to God and He saves us.   In a storm watch for a word from God giving hope and direction.   Keep your eyes on God and not the storm and God will guide you through to a greater trust in Him. Acts 27. 27  But when the fourteenth night came, as we were being driven about in the Adriatic Sea, about midnight the sailors began to surmise that [ p ] they were approaching some land. 28  They took soundings and found it to be twenty fathoms; and a little farther on they took another sounding and found it to be fifteen fathoms. 29  Fearing that we might run aground somewhere on the [ q ] rocks, they cast four anchors from the stern and [ r ] wished for daybreak. 30  But as the sailors were trying to escape from the ship and had let down the ship’s boat into the sea, on the pretense of intending to lay out anchors from the bow, 31  Paul said

2.1-When it is time for us to move from earth what should our attitude be?

2.1-- There is a purpose and destiny for all of our lives.   We can notice the doors God is opening and the ones God is closing.   There is a time when our life on earth is coming toward its close.   When that time comes it is important to surrender to His plan for our move to heaven. Matthew 27. 11  Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said to him, “ It is as you say.” 12  And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He did not answer. 13  Then Pilate *said to Him, “Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?” 14  And He did not answer him with regard to even a single [ e ] charge, so the governor was quite amazed. Hebrews 9. 27  And inasmuch as it is [ y ] appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, John 14. 14  “Do not let your heart be troubled; [ a ] believe in God, believe also in Me. 2  In My Father’s house are many dwelling p

1.31- The leaders who are worldly leaders care more about their own success than they care about people.   God as a shepherd cares for His sheep.   God appoints leaders who are willing to put the people and their needs before their own. Psalm 23. 23  The Lord is my shepherd, I [ a ] shall not want. 2  He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside [ b ] quiet waters. 3  He restores my soul; He guides me in the [ c ] paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4  Even though I walk through the [ d ] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no [ e ] evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You [ f ] have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. 6 [ g ] Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will [ h ] dwell in the house of the Lord [ i ] forever. John 10. 11  “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays dow
