9,8- Bring a heavy duty scratch out into the open air and it starts to put on a scab and heal. At first it must be seen as a problem and not ignored. Then properly cleansed and a temporary bandage, but soon it must be in open air. I have heard this from Wise, experienced parents and professionals. Other messes are that way. Covered up they get worse and the cover up destroys trust. Face it. Apologize and move forward. Psalm 51 51  Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings. 2  Wash me thoroughly from my guilt And cleanse me from my sin. 3  For I know my wrongdoings, And my sin is constantly before me. 4  Against You, You only, I have sinned And done what is evil in Your sight, So that You  [ b ] are justified  [ c ] when You speak And  [ d ] blameless when You judge. 5  Behold, I was brought forth in guilt, And in sin my mother conceived me. 6  Behold, You desire truth in the  [ e ] innermost being, An

9.7- Sheila used this phrase last year in on her short prayers As she finished her work. "Father stay close to me."

9.7- Sheila used this phrase last year in on her short prayers As she finished her work. "Father stay close to me." Lauren Daigle has a song that is my prayer this morning. "Stay close to me when the best of me is barely breathing. When I'm not someone I believe in. Hold on to me. When I miss in light the night has stolen. When I'm slamming all the doors you've opened. Hold on to me. When it's to dark to see you. When I'm sure I've reached the end. When I forget I need you. When I let go hold me again. When I don't feel I'm worth defending When I'm tired of defending When I start to break in desperation. Underneath the weight of expectation. I could rest in your arms forever. Cause I know no one loves me better" John 10. 7  So Jesus said to them again,  “Truly, truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.   8  All those who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.   9  I am the door; if any

9.6- was reminded this morning how life develops daily.

9.6- was reminded this morning how life develops daily. The prayer is for daily bread. We are reminded each day has its own problems and solutions. When we worry about things in the future we are clueless about new helpers we will be given by then. Today I choose to replace worry time with prayer time. Matthew 6. 25  “For this reason I say to you,  [ az ] do not be worried about your  [ ba ] life,  as to  what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body,  as to  what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?   26  Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather  crops  into barns, and  yet  your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?   27  And which of you by worrying can add a single  [ bb ] day to his  [ bc ] life’s span?   28  And why are you worried about clothing? Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin  thread for cloth ,   29  yet I say to

9.5- There is a joy that fills my heart when people call me or come by.

9.5- There is a joy that fills my heart when people call me or come by. One of my friends calls then comes by bringing his upbeat spirit and lunch or dinner and makes my day, week or month. This extra effort of outreach refreshes our spirits. I recently learned of a soldier who had ended his life and wondered if someone might have thought about calling him to say hi but was too busy to get it done. I'm not one who has been overlooked that way because of the nature of my friends or maybe because I'm "un-iignoranable" but I am reminded to pray for all my friends regularly and call when I have time or they might have a special need. 2 Timothy 1. 15  You are aware of the fact that all who are in  [ j ] Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.   16  The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my  [ k ] chains;   17  but when he was in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me—   18  t

9.4- Broken eggs.

9.4- Broken eggs. I had been warned Don't try to carry too much in from the grocery store at once. Learn the hard way or the easy way. Why does the only thing that falls off is the most fragile? The carton was crushed. Several eggs were broken. I have learned to keep looking when a little frustration comes to stay alert. Some good can come out of something bad. Getting laid off from the wrong job can lead to the right job. Getting bumped from the wrong flight to get the right flight, five minutes later plus a free flight. Now I watch for the turn and learn from frustrating little things. Broken eggs. Scrambled eggs. Romans 12 14  Bless those who persecute  [ q ] you; bless and do not curse.   15  Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.   16  Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be  [ r ] haughty in mind, but  [ s ] associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.   17  Never repay evil for evil to anyone.  [ t ] Respect what is right
