9.28-You get to choose which of your thought patterns to feed

9.28- The Fight of Two Wolves Within You An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life: “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil–he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you–and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.” Galations 5. 16  But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17  For the flesh [ g ] sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so

9.27-The cross of Jesus is the magnet that draws people who are saved to God.

9.27- We know that the cross where Jesus is lifted up is the magnet that draws people. We walk in the light of Jesus love.   God pours out grace, mercy and peace on us.  John 12. 27  “Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. 28  Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” 29  So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “An angel has spoken to Him.” 30  Jesus answered and said, “This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes. 31  Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. 32  And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” 33  But He was saying this to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die. 34  The crowd then answered Him, “We have heard out of the Law that [ l ] the

9.26-We must be where Jesus is in order to effectively serve.

9.26.- John 12. 26  If anyone [ j ] serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone [ k ] serves Me, the Father will honor him. We must die to ourselves. 1 Cor. 4. The greatest workers for Jesus have learned to forget what this world thinks of them.  It doesn't matter. They focus on pleasing God only. They don't worry about how people are treating them or mistreating them.  They are focused on the glory going to Jesus Christ.   4  Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2  In this case, moreover, it is required [ a ] of stewards that one be found trustworthy. 3  But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human [ b ] court; in fact, I do not even examine myself. 4  For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord. 5  Therefore do not go on [ c ] passin

9.25- We wish to see Jesus. Our focus in a storm and at all times needs to be King Jesus.

9.25- John 12. 20  Now there were some Greeks among those who were going up to worship at the feast; 21  these then came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and began to ask him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” 22  Philip *came and *told Andrew; Andrew and Philip *came and *told Jesus. 23  And Jesus *answered them, saying, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24  Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. 25  He who loves his [ h ] life loses it, and he who hates his [ i ] life in this world will keep it to life eternal. 26  If anyone [ j ] serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone [ k ] serves Me, the Father will honor him. My king is Jesus. Psalm 68.18-23 18  You have ascended on high, You have led captive Your captives; You have received gifts among men, Even among the rebellious also
