9.7- What to do during a hurricane?

9.7- During times of earthquake level changes you should be careful not to follow anyone buy God.   Be careful in hard times to be honest and real with God and therefore yourself.   God will deliver you.  Psalm 55. Psalm 55. 16  As for me, I shall call upon God, And the Lord will save me. 17  Evening and morning and at noon, I will complain and murmur, And He will hear my voice. 18  He will redeem my soul in peace [ n ] from the battle which is against me, For they are many who strive with me. 19  God will hear and [ o ] answer them— 22  Cast [ t ] your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to [ u ] be shaken.

9.6-Do you work and be happy and content with what you agreed to work for.

9.6- The high maintence worker is a problem.  What compassionate leaders want is followers who know how to work fast and smart and get the job done.  These know what their basic pay is going to be and they are content with it.  There are tips that are given to the workers who are excellent and exceptional.  The way they want to hear thank you is basically with the pay and wages they receive.  To expect pay and thank you may be too much to expect.  We certainly don't want thank you instead of the pay we deserve. Luke 17. 7  “Which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come immediately and [ g ] sit down to eat’? 8  But will he not say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and properly [ h ] clothe yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; and [ i ] afterward you [ j ] may eat and drink’? 9  He does not thank the slave because he did the things which were commanded, does he? 10  So you too, when you do

9.5-Life will rip up your roots unless your roots go down deep spiritually into God's living water.

9.5- Those who are deeply rooted with God can overcome hard times and drought when the shallow spiritually survive. Psalm 52. 52  Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God endures all day long. 2  Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, O worker of deceit. 3  You love evil more than good, Falsehood more than speaking what is right. [ c ] Selah. 4  You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue. 5  [ d ] But God will break you down forever; He will snatch you up and tear you away from your tent, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah. 6  The righteous will see and fear, And will laugh at him, saying , 7  “Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge, But trusted in the abundance of his riches And was strong in [ e ] his evil desire.” 8  But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever. 9  I will give You thanks forever, because You have done

9.4-Why does our world often de value children?

9.4- We have so many news stories of little children being hurt in a variety of ways.  Children left in a car and dying of heat.  Parents distracted by multiple tasks.  A husband who is texting his mistress and forgets to take a child out of a car seat.  They child dies and the father is put on trial in Georgia. This world does not value children in the way that Jesus does.  To many in this world, children are an annoyance.  When people get a seat by them on the airplane they asked to be moved.  How sad! Luke 17. 17  He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that [ a ] stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2  It [ b ] would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.

9.3- If there is a loving God in charge of the universe why do the wicked live so long?

9.3- Small faith in God can cause some amazing things to happen.   Small becomes large.   Trees of habit can be uprooted and a new chain of healthy habits can begin.   Boldness to warn can come.   Repentance can come and forgiveness can happen.   Over and over.   This is God’s way.   A way of patience.  Isaiah 48.9-11 9  “For the sake of My name I delay My wrath, And for My praise I restrain it for you, In order not to cut you off. 10  “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. 11  “For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act; For how can My name be profaned? And My glory I will not give to another. Luke 17. 17  He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that [ a ] stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2  It [ b ] would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 [ c
