5.23-Jesus loved a lot of different kinds of people.

5.23- Jesus loved people who were super religious people. Some have been mostly helped by “religion” and rarely hurt. They have a view of religion set by their own view of their own congregation and fellowship. They see the good and experience the good and to them religion has been a good thing. He loved people who were not religious at all. Toxic abuse has happened to some people at church. Women and children have been bullied and abused or even discounted and ignored. To these people religion is something that hurts people. The religious people whom Jesus taught would get furious at him and try to kill him. He loved people who loved the Scriptures. I came from a family that loved the Bible. We went to Bible classes to learn all of the great stories of God’s love for people. One of these is the story of a widow who was almost out of food. A prophet of God came by and ask for some food. He promised her that if she would make him some bread and give it to him that God

5.22- I have noticed this about successful people.

5.22- I have noticed this about successful people. They focus on spreading good news to those around them. They believe that mental, emotional and spiritual growth is important. They work to keep their conscience clean. They are very effective at serving people in a way that gives them joy as an extra bonus in addition to the needed service. They share whatever they have. They are content. They don’t consider themselves strong in their own strength, but strong in God’s strength in them. They are not trying to be like everyone else, not the opposite of everyone else, but simply they best they can be. 5.21-Gratefulness is the key to be healthy and truly spiritually well.

5.21- I counted 48 joints in my body that work really well this morning.   I have a couple that perform right now at about 50%.   I am thankful for those 48 joints and the other two that allow me to walk even though slowly and a bit wobbly and awkwardly at times. Gratefulness is the key to be healthy and truly spiritually well. Luke 17. 11  While He was on the way to Jerusalem, He was passing [ k ] between Samaria and Galilee. 12  As He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him; 13  and they raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14  When He saw them, He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were going, they were cleansed. 15  Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, 16  and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan. 17  Then Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—wh
