1.26-What about lifting up hands in worship and prayer?

1.26- I'm praying for the repentance and success of all people, regardless of their nation, or their opinions along with my own repentance and success. 1 Timothy 2. 2  First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2  for kings and all who are in [ a ] authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and [ b ] dignity. 3  This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4  who desires all men to be saved and to come to the [ c ] knowledge of the truth. 5  For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6  who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony [ d ] given at [ e ] the proper time. 7  For this I was appointed a [ f ] preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying) as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 8  Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without

1.25-Consequences teach us better than most other things.

1.25- It is not compassion to rescue others from logical consequences of things meant to teach them an important lesson.  Hebrews 12. 11  All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

1.24-How do we seek God's Face?

1.24- One nation. One nation. One nation. Under God. Under God. Under God.  2 Chronicles 7.14. 14 and My people [d]who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. This was written about Israel in the Old Testament. In my opinion America is not the same as Israel but any nation that is as divided as deeply and radically as our own is can be in dangerous situation. Jesus said a house divided against itself cannot stand. A family divided cannot stand. A congregation divided into a constant thought pattern of "Us" versus "Them" is in a dangerous place. According to Jesus there is only one Flock of His Sheep. Please pray for the healing of our nation. Let us be merciful as our Father is merciful. Luke 6. 27 “But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those

1.23- Many of us have been greatly helped by God, yet deny He even exists? Why?

1.23- Yesterday, 1.16.19,  was the ten year anniversary of the miracle on the Hudson. A plane ditched and 100% were saved. According to Jesus it is a wicked and adulterous generation that seeks selfish miracles and signs. On the other hand it is a fool who claims humans saved all these lives and it was not God but good people and good equipment who saved all the passengers. Thanks be to God for His mercy and grace for us, His children. Psalm 14. 14  The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed abominable [ a ] deeds; There is no one who does good. 2  The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who [ b ] understand, Who seek after God. 3  They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one. 4  Do all the workers of wickedness not know, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon the Lord? 5  There they are

1.22-What should God's people do when the leaders of their nation demand they do something wrong?

1.22- The most important God powered event is the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.  People get involved in seeking signs from God from everything to a good parking space to a short line in the supermarket.  To seek selfish, me first help from God is wicked. Matthew 12. 38  Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a [ ak ] sign from You.” 39  But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves for a [ al ] sign; and yet no [ am ] sign will be given to it but the [ an ] sign of Jonah the prophet; 40  for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster , so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. It is true that God's angels have delivered His children from danger and will do so again. Daniel 3. 8  For this reason at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and [ k ] brought charges against the Jews. 9  They responded and said to Nebuchadnez

1.21-The leader to reject and the leader to follow.

1.21- Some of the world's leaders are totally against the behaviors that Jesus is for.  They call each other names.  They degrade each other and put down instead of build up. They try to divide people in order to have power over them.  This world's leaders come and go.  Would you sell your soul in order to impress a leader who will soon be dead?  That power and approval is like a vapor.  Jesus as our leader pushes for unity among people. Matthew 12. 30  He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters. Matthew 12. 33  “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. 34  You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak [ ad ] what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. 35  The good man brings out of his good treasure [ ae ] what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure [ af ] what is evil. 36  But I tell you that eve

1.20-What should I think when different groups say they have the truth?

1.20- It is good to listen to Scripture read publicly. What is important is not not allow religious or political leaders to tell you what it means in a way that favors their national power desires.  They want to have you believe that their nation or their party or their national leader is the truth.  No. They are not the truth. Jesus is the truth. Matthew 12. 12  At that [ a ] time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat. 2  But when the Pharisees saw this , they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath.” 3  But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions, 4  how he entered the house of God, and they ate the [ b ] consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat nor for those with him, but for the priests alone? 5  Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple [ c
