Refreshing Our Spirits With Scripture

God, Help me to remember that these are not mine, they are yours.   You have loaned them to me for a short while.   Your are in charge.   Your plans for them are better than my plans for them.   They have some freedom of choice as to how much they want to be with me and they still choose to spend time with me and for this I am thankful, Lord. They are trying to follow your Son, Jesus, as I am.   We are together spiritually on that at least.   They have been around me closely and intently for long periods of time and so they know the good, the bad and the ugly about me. Remind them, if they think of something good about me from time to time, that this good thing comes from you and help them to draw close to you. They hopefully know that our relationship is as healthy as it is because of you.   Keep them close to your side. They have accepted your word, O God, regarding your forgiveness and grace.   Help them to accept your word regarding how to live a healthy life. He
