3.28-God's discipline for His children is because of His love
3.28- I have some rose bushes out near the mail box that are lovely but they must be cut back from time to time. This helps them to keep putting out flowers. The cutting doesn't break them, but in a new way makes them better. I have some pruning that Jesus does in my life. He cuts some things out. He doesn't want this thing and teaches me to drop it. He disciplines me a times. It is some pain that makes me take notice. John 15. 15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He [ a ] prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already [ b ] clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you.
