Don't Waste Your One Emergency Call

Don’t waste your one emergency call. If you have an emergency and look up the “emergency number” I hope it happens during “normal business hours”.   There is a well known national company which has some “emergency” numbers and I called one and it said I must call during “normal office hours”. When you have a storm emergency like the people in Moore Oklahoma today you need to know someone to call who always answers the phone. Once there was a storm problem and the disciples of Jesus called him, “Master!!! Master!!!”   They were concerned that in His sleep He didn’t realize they were about to drown. It has been a hard spring on people in Boston, West, Shawnee and Moore.   Many there know Jesus and have called on Him and He has been there for them I’m certain.   He has answered through first responders, neighbors, friends and doctors and nurses.   All those who love their neighbor as themselves are aligned with the message of the Master of the universe. A Prayer For The Children of God in Oklahoma

A Prayer For The Children of God in Oklahoma God, When there is such devastation and damage we can’t understand our world. When innocent children die through and “act of nature” or an “act of God” we cannot comprehend. When over and over the same town is hit and the same area of the country and state is hit we cannot help but ask “Why?” The sky has no answers.   The thunder rolls without answers. Where can we turn?   You are our shelter from the storm. You are one who is ever present in trouble. You do not give your children a spirit of fear, but of hope. Will not give in to fear.   You give us a stream of your Spirit to fill our hearts with comfort. You are the place of the only peace we can find. You are above us and below us and beside us and in front and behind us. We will not give in to fear.   You are our safe room. You are our storm cellar. You are our place of safety.   Help us to “Be still and know that you are Go
