365 Verses that can transform your life.-5.16- Receive forgiveness. Move forward. Forgive others. Get a life of good mental health.

Luke 5. 17  One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. 18  Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 19  When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. 20  When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” 21  The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 22  Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23  Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 24  But I want you to know

Luke 5. 12  While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. [ b ] When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 13  Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.

365 Verses that can transform your life.-5.14-Fish for deeper relationships with family and friends by taking guidance from Jesus.

Luke 5. 5  One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, [ a ] the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. 2  He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. 3  He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. 4  When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” 5  Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” 6  When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7  So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. 8  When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord

365 Verses that Can Transform Your Life.-5.13-Jesus would get up at daybreak and go to a solitary place.

Luke 4. 42  At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them. 43  But he said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” 44  And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

365 verses that can transform your life.-5.12-Some people come close to help when folks are sick. Jesus powers this work by His Spirit.

Luke 4. 38  Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. 39  So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.

365 Verses that can transform your life. -5.11-When rejected by your own family be gracious but be bold at the same time.

Luke 4. 22  All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked. 23  Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me, ‘Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’” 24  “Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown. 25  I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26  Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27  And there were many in Israel with leprosy [ g ] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.” 28  All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. 29  They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the t

365 Verses that can transform your life.-5.10-When you need good news or freedom from oppession there is no source like Jesus' people.

Luke 4. 14  Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. 15  He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. 16  He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17  and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: 18  “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,      because he has anointed me      to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners      and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19       to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” [ f ] 20  Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21  He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
