12.9-A greedy leader is a destructive leader whether family, church or nation.
12.9- God created the Jewish family to prepare for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus. They had some of the same problems we have with religion 3,000 years later. The leaders of a family or church or even a nation can become focused on selfish, greedy things and God is not happy. We can as a group change and become more healthy. Beth Moore tweeted about this right after Thanksgiving. Learning to deal honestly. To talk about arduous things. To have the necessary conflicts safely. To shed the built up tears. To address offenses & admit our way wasn’t working, that it had never worked. These are things God uses to save the Moores. I long for these in the church.
