2 Corinthians 5. 17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: [ a ] The old has gone, the new is here! Psalm 80 1  Hear us, Shepherd of Israel,      you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who sit enthroned between the cherubim,      shine forth 2  before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your might;      come and save us. 3  Restore us, O God;      make your face shine on us,      that we may be saved. 4  How long, Lord God Almighty,      will your anger smolder      against the prayers of your people? 5  You have fed them with the bread of tears;      you have made them drink tears by the bowlful. 6  You have made us an object of derision [ b ] to our neighbors,      and our enemies mock us. 7  Restore us, God Almighty;      make your face shine on us,      that we may be saved.  

Revelation 22. 14  “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 1 Corinthians 10. 13  No temptation [ c ] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted [ d ] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, [ e ] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 2 Corinthians 9. 10  Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. Psalm 72 Endow the king with your justice, O God,      the royal son with your righteousness. 2  May he judge your people in righteousness,      your afflicted ones with justice. 3  May the mountains bring prosperity to the people,      the hills the fruit of righteousness. 4  May he defend the afflicted among the people      and save the children of the needy;      may he crush the oppressor. 5  May he endure [ a ] as long as the sun,      as long as the moon, through all generations. 6  May he be like rain falling on a mown field,      like showers watering the earth. 7  In his days may the righteous flourish      and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.  

Romans 8. 31  What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Psalm 121 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—      where does my help come from? 2  My help comes from the Lord ,      the Maker of heaven and earth. 3  He will not let your foot slip—      he who watches over you will not slumber; 4  indeed, he who watches over Israel      will neither slumber nor sleep. 5  The Lord watches over you—      the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6  the sun will not harm you by day,      nor the moon by night. 7  The Lord will keep you from all harm—      he will watch over your life; 8  the Lord will watch over your coming and going      both now and forevermore.  

Romans 8. 8  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, Psalm 112. Praise the Lord . [ b ] Blessed are those who fear the Lord ,      who find great delight in his commands. 2  Their children will be mighty in the land;      the generation of the upright will be blessed. 3  Wealth and riches are in their houses,      and their righteousness endures forever. 4  Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,      for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous. 5  Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,      who conduct their affairs with justice. 6  Surely the righteous will never be shaken;      they will be remembered forever. 7  They will have no fear of bad news;      their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord . 8  Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;      in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. 9  They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,      their righteousness endur

Romans 5. 8  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Psalm 130 Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord ; 2       Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive      to my cry for mercy. 3  If you, Lord , kept a record of sins,      Lord, who could stand? 4  But with you there is forgiveness,      so that we can, with reverence, serve you. 5  I wait for the Lord , my whole being waits,      and in his word I put my hope. 6  I wait for the Lord      more than watchmen wait for the morning,      more than watchmen wait for the morning. 7  Israel, put your hope in the Lord ,      for with the Lord is unfailing love      and with him is full redemption. 8  He himself will redeem Israel      from all their sins.

Matthew 11.28 28  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Psalm 55. Listen to my prayer, O God,      do not ignore my plea; 2       hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught 3       because of what my enemy is saying,      because of the threats of the wicked; for they bring down suffering on me      and assail me in their anger. 4  My heart is in anguish within me;      the terrors of death have fallen on me. 5  Fear and trembling have beset me;      horror has overwhelmed me. 6  I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!      I would fly away and be at rest. 7  I would flee far away      and stay in the desert; [ c ] 8  I would hurry to my place of shelter,      far from the tempest and storm.”
