1.4.20 Some religious people are ruled by fear instead of love.

1.4.20 Some religious people are ruled by fear instead of love.   This is not good.   Love means giving away money from your riches for the poor.   In this way you transfer your wealth to heaven.   God’s love means it rains on the just and the unjust. God is a God of Mercy. Psalm 145. 8  The Lord is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. 9  The Lord is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works. 10  All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord , And Your godly ones shall bless You. 11  They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; 12  To make known to the sons of men [ d ] Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of [ e ] Your kingdom. 13  Your kingdom is [ f ] an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. 14  The Lord sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down. 15  The eyes of all [ g ] look to You, And You give them their food in due ti

1.3.20 Let your light shine

1.3.20 Let your light shine 1.       Something happened at Wheeler High School that I wanted to make sure your readers knew about.  One of the mom's of a middle school athlete decided to commit to make it her mission to inspire their booster club from complete chaos to be well organized and highly motivated. 2.         3.       This woman is an accountant for a local business, Farmburger.  She had her boys graduate from the athletic program but kept using her skills working 20 to 30 hours a week in season and almost as much out of season. 4.         5.       She first volunteered to be the treasurer.  Then after two years of raising funds from every possible means to help poor athletes to get the equipment they needed she took on other jobs.  She has been the President of her booster club for the last two years.  Tonight at the football banquet they decided to recognize here for giving eight years of her life to this great work of being the coordinator of the middle

In your hearts do not think evil of each other. Zechariah 7. 9  “Thus has the Lord of hosts said, ‘Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother; 10  and do not oppress the widow or the [ i ] orphan, the [ j ] stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.’

1.1.20-Warm. Some things need to be warm. Friendship. Fellowship. Partnership.

1.1.20-Warm. Some things need to be warm. Friendship. Fellowship. Partnership. I went to Whataburger and had a new experience. I asked for Hidden Valley Ranch dip. She handed me the bag of warm Whataburger Jrs. with this comment. "Keep the Ranch separated with this napkin because it is cold." At first I couldn't understand what she was saying, I thought, So what, the cool ranch is cool. What's the big deal? She wanted me to notice and keep them separate. Amazing touch of this drive through helper. Warm. Some things need to be warm. Friendship. Fellowship. Partnership. Cool needs to be noticed. It is a thing to be careful with. Have you had times when a friend treated you "with coolness" to get you to be aware of something? Are you sensitive to notice when people might have been put off by something you did or said. Note to myself, "Be careful and notice what is going on around you and respond with proper responses

12.31- True Freedom Grace is not the permission to do what we want, but the dynamic to do what we ought.

12.31- True Freedom Grace is not the permission to do what we want, but the dynamic to do what we ought. Acts 13. 38  Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through [ p ] Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, 39  and [ q ] through Him everyone who believes is [ r ] freed [ s ] from all things, from which you could not be [ t ] freed [ u ] through the Law of Moses.
