Refreshing Our Spirits With Scripture

Strong men and women of God must never forget the principles that the evil one wants us to forget. Jesus and Mental Health.   Don’t get your self-image from the wrong source. God provides everything for   His children including a healthy self-image. The world tries to beat us down to say that we are finished.   We are not worthy of any respect.   We are losers. God has adopted us as His children.   This changes everything.   We can be a strong example for our family because God has made us strong in Him.   On the outside things seem to be falling apart but inside we are being made new day by day. I was around many people who were mentally healthy but some who were not.  Personal reflection shows many times I chose a course that was not emotionally healthy for me or my family and co-workers.  Growth is needed there for me personally.   Mental health issues involved in the Aurora theater shooting and the other tragedies in Colorado and now including Newtown Connecticut have been on my mind. Don’t we need to notice the effects of our relationships with people? I’m thinking we need to w atch for people around us to notice the impact they are having. If they are in our family, hopefully, we will be all moving toward Jesus lifestyle together. Sometimes that is not the case.
