Why is it a better blessing to give than to receive? (Acts 20.35)

Day of Year: 45

Favorite Verse: Matthew 13.41
41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom [w]all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, [x]let him hear.

Thought for the day: Love gives freedom of choice.  God is love.  Humans have this radical freedom to choose to love God back or not.  People can follow God's way or not.  If we choose God's way our life with Him is from His mercy and grace and not our goodness.  But there were two thieves crucified with Jesus.  Only one chose to have faith in Jesus.  The other thief did not choose Jesus' way.
