Questionable phrases at church?

According to Jesus language tells a great deal about what is in our hearts.  His vision was that we fill our hearts with His love and then our mouths will speak out of that overflow.

Jim Hines, a good friend, is developing class material regarding how language reveals our spiritual maturity.   Examples of phrases we hear around churches that might need to be dropped.

"Well, I’m no Bible scholar"

·         "Bless their heart"
·
"     "You’re in my spot'

·        " I’ll be up all night worrying about it"

·         "At our church they are …"

·         "President Obama is such a [insert derogatory remark]"
]
·         "Oh good, there’s a $5 bill in my wallet"

·         "I wonder who that is"

·       "  I wish those kids would just be quiet  /  If those were my kids …"

C   What do you think?
      Can you add to the list?
