What do you believe happens when you leave this life?  I believe that we go to be with Jesus at that point.

 

There are several levels of belief in God and in the life beyond the grave.

 

Level One:

Believe without seeing.

 

Level Two:

You have seen evidence in life that makes you believe that there is life after this life.

 

Level Three:

You have heard people you believe to be honest sincere people who told you about the evidence that there is life after death.

 

These three levels believe without seeing.

 

Level Four:

Believe with seeing.

(You have seen angels.)

 

Level Five:

You have had a personal, spiritual encounter with Jesus Christ that is undeniable to your heart, soul and mind.

 

Level Six:

You have had doubts about Jesus Christ being one who survived His death on the cross and then because of a personal encounter with Him you have had your doubts dispelled.  You have seen Jesus Christ alive after His death on the cross.

 

 

Jesus declared that there is a special blessing from Him to those who believe without seeing.  Maybe you are one of those people who have been a believer in God and the afterlife for all of your life with little doubt.  Maybe you are a late comer to belief in an afterlife having years of unbelief.  Regardless it is said by Jesus that He sends you a blessing if you are one who believes without seeing.


John 20.


26 Eight days later, his disciples were again in the room. This time Thomas was with them. Jesus came through the locked doors, stood among them, and said, “Peace to you.”

27 Then he focused his attention on Thomas. “Take your finger and examine my hands. Take your hand and stick it in my side. Don’t be unbelieving. Believe.”

28 Thomas said, “My Master! My God!”

29 Jesus said, “So, you believe because you’ve seen with your own eyes. Even better blessings are in store for those who believe without seeing.”

30-31 Jesus provided far more God-revealing signs than are written down in this book. These are written down so you will believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and in the act of believing, have real and eternal life in the way he personally revealed it.

9.4- Broken eggs. I had been warned Don't try to carry too much in from the grocery store at once. Learn the hard way or the easy way. Why does the only thing that falls off is the most fragile?  9.2- There was this grasshopper who appeared to be very old and very wounded. He drug himself along. Where he was amazed me. On the ground level at the gas station near Gordon Texas was dirt and oil and the danger of feet and tires. As I pumped 39.30 worth of fuel I wondered how did he get out of the dirt and danger to the safety of the top of the gas pump? As I get older I sometimes feel I am dragging along like a grasshopper. My spirit is fueled by seeing how my life includes my maker providing safety for me by the help of family, friends and strangers. Two such are my nephew, Lynn And Sheri Luttrell. He is a prof. at ACU and she the owner and leader of stepping Stones school. Got to spent two days of fun, 42 and homemade ice cream last week.  9.3- I have been given a bed to go to sleep in where a window is high and laying on my back I can see the moon at times. Flat of my back I can choose to think of the maker of the moon. A space craft from India landed there yesterday near the south pole of the moon where they think there may be water. Once the greatest human who ever lived faced his hardest days. He spoke words of steady trust and submission to his loving heavenly Father, maker of heaven and earth. "If possible may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
