Balance

Day of Year: 91
Date:3.31.14
Favorite Verse: Matthew 23.23

23 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

Thought for the day:
Jesus challenged the spiritual health and mental health of the religious leaders of His day.  They were out of balance.  They cared more about following their minute laws than practicing mercy, justice and faithfulness in their daily lives.  Do we major in minors and minor in majors?
