Thought for the day:
Before He was born Jesus knew that He was loved by His heavenly Father.  He was loved by Mary.  Jesus came to earth to gather people together and give refuge to those in danger.  He begged, pleaded and cried when they would not come.  Does God weep?  Yes.  He weeps when we run away when we are broken and in danger instead of running to Him.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
