3.30- Some things that we see cause us to believe that this life is not all there is.

3.30- Some things that we see cause us to believe that this life is not all there is. It can be events around the death of a loved one. The disciples of the teacher ran to the tomb after his death and looked at the linen wrappings lying there. They saw these and believed. What did they see? At the death scene of loved one's I have seen them stretching toward a curtain that they were stretching to open where they mentioned the name of their loved one they seemed to see on the other side. These scences caused my belief in the reality of life beyond life to be very real. I have also seen the trust and peace people had as they surrendered this life over with a peace that passes understanding that I could not explain apart from our Father in heaven. What have you seen that convinces you that there is life beyond this life? John 20 20  Now on the first  day  of the week Mary Magdalene *came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and *saw the stone...

3.29- Unless you know the heart of a father you will not understand his expectations for his children.

3.29- Unless you know the heart of a father you will not understand his expectations for his children. He expects his children to love each other deeply from the heart. That may seem understandable. What about someone who killed your son. Would he expect you to love him? That who our father in heaven is. He loves each of us regardless of our condition because that is who he is. There was a rebellious criminal who died next to God's son. He couldn't move his hands or feet but he could move his heart and mouth. He admitted he was getting what deserved and said to the Lord remember me when you come back. He was told, "Today you're going to paradise with me." Our father loves people and wants to set them free to live in paradise with him forever. You will never understand the father's expectations for his children without knowing his heart. Romans 5 5  Therefore, having been justified by faith,  [ a ] we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,   2  t...

3.28- I want those closest to me To have the best experience of me.

3.28- I want those closest to me To have the best experience of me. Without much thought I have given "leftovers" of my life rather than the "prime rib" of my life to my family waiting for a time later life , retirement some day I will put them first. I hope to focus and be in the best "mood" possible for those i love most. 1 Thessalonians 5 12  But we ask you, brothers  and sisters , to recognize those who diligently labor among you and  [ h ] are in leadership over you in the Lord, and give you  [ i ] instruction,   13  and that you regard them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another.   14  We urge you, brothers  and sisters , admonish the  [ j ] unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.   15  See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all peopl...

3.27- I had felt some joy and delight in making people laugh and enjoy life

3.27- I had felt some joy and delight in making people laugh and enjoy life since the days in middle school and high school. I was always looking for an angle to make and quick comment. Dad would say, "I like smart people, but I don't like smart alec s." He would say that when I would pop off when I should have been quiet. God one time said that he was going to give his children success not because they were stiff necked, but in spite of the fact that they were stiff necked. The point I'm making that those of us who are talkative need to be more reflective about what we say and what we write and post especially me. Having said that, I got the impression about the year 1969 that I should use my mouth to teach people about God's great love for His children. By the grace and mercy of God and the patience of His people I was able to regularly teach on weekends from about April 1 , 1969 to March 24, 2013. At about 1.30pm on this date, 3.24.13 I fell and broke my k...

3.26- It's been said if we know the why then we can endure any how that comes our way.

3.26- It's been said if we know the why then we can endure any how that comes our way. Purpose in life is important. The tragedy written on a tombstone, "Here lie a man who went out of this world not knowing why he came into it." One great world changer wrote, "i know whom I have believed and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day." 2 Timothy 1 12  For this reason I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to protect what I have entrusted to Him  [ h ] until that day.

3.25- Weakness is a set up for a set forward.

3.25- Weakness is a set up for a set forward. I don't like weakness.  I want to be strong.  I want to overcome without any special help from anyone.  My pride makes me want to feel that I am stronger than others and so at times I pretend to be better than I acutally am. When we acknowledge we are weak we open the door for getting good help and meeting new friends and even business parters and lifetime friends. Almost all of my medical helpers have been exactly the angels I needed at the moment to help me get better. One of my wise teachers wrote that the weakness set up an understanding that God loves to help his children who are feeling weak and can admot their need of his grace and mercy and peace.  We then can pray and be still and watch what he does to comfort us and send others to be a blessing. 2 Corinthians 12 7  Because of the extraordinary  greatness  of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was gi...

3.24- I want to do all I can to remove any burden that I can remove from my family and friends.

3.24- I want to do all I can to remove any burden that I can remove from my family and friends.  Without meaning to we add "I shoulda..." guilt trip to our beloved family.  My prayer today is how can I lighten their load. My teacher saw that people tend to be overburdened.  He gave an invitation to come to him and he would lighten the load by getting under it with them.  This would reduce the load.   In the close contact he would share hsi humility and gentleness in a way that made life easier not harder.  He even went so far as to remove dirt from their feet which had walked paths with dirt and donkey manure. He did all he could for his beloved to make them feel guided and supported. I want to do the same.  John 13 5  Then He *poured water into the basin, and began washing the disciples’ feet and wiping them with the towel which He had tied around Himself.   6  So He *came to Simon Peter. He *said to Him, “Lord, You are ...
