Refreshing Our Spirits With Scripture

 3.2- "There is nothing that is impossible for God." Not true. The truth is that it's impossible for him to lie. All of his promises come to pass. He has promised his children eternal life and so we have hope in every situation and circumstance. Titus 1  Paul, a bond-servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ,  [ a ] for the faith of those chosen of God and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,   2  in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised  [ b ] long ages ago,   3  but at the proper time revealed His word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior; 4  To Titus, my true  [ c ] son  [ d ] in a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

 2.28- How attracted I am to business partners that are honest and up front about mistakes and how to fairly correct them. I hard a pest control service that got behind on me paying them. They finally got paid but I had freedom from wasps and yellowjackets all year. Texted an order to Chic Fila and they lost it. Gave us the order. I hate lying and deceit and phony promises when mistakes have been made. Do the right thing!!! Just treat people the way you would want to be treated.  2.27- I have experienced being very close to some healthy family leaders. They were not perfect people. But good family leaders. One had 100 blood descendants. They focused on love and mercy. They did not seek positions of being served. They covered the ground they stood on. Beware bullies. Dont mess with them. School. Sports. Religion. Work. Politics. They didn't expect others to do what they wouldn't do. They believed in close up, hard, tough love. No running from hard words of correction. They did not burden people, they uplifted people. Saturday I visited the place where many of them are buried.  2.26- Iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another. I just saw a lively interchange on the television where two financial pundits were going at it. Wow! The leader of the show said if you are going to use bully, put down comments to win this discussion, you can move out of that chair. Wow! Proverbs 27 17  As  iron sharpens iron, So one person sharpens another. Proverbs 17 17  A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

 2.25- Here is the opposite of humility. "I'm right your wrong. Let me show you what's going on." How often I have made this mistake in sharing my life with those I love.  2.24- A better vision by deeper reflection. When I am indecisive about how to treat someone I ask how would Bill Luttrell and Sheila would treat someone. They are both still strong with me in my heart. Helen, Bill Wishard, Hazanne and I are still finishing our chores here in the visible realm.
