Refreshing Our Spirits With Scripture

Today if you feel lost and confused... He was looking for his keys under the machine where I was working out. I got off the machine and helped him look. He was upset as I would be if I lost my car keys. He was looking intensely. Highly focused. Once when Jesus was criticized for hanging out with sinners He answered by saying that the joy of the Father in heaven is most when a child of His is lost then found. So if you feel lost and confused in your life know that your Father in heaven is looking for you and sends some of His followers to encourage and lift you up today. Watch for those who love people, they are probably from Him. 12.6- Make your choices about life and whether to be greedy or generous with an awareness that the truth about your life and character will be shown to everyone.   The truth about you will come out. Luke 12. 12  Under these circumstances, after [ a ] so many thousands of [ b ] people had gathered together that they were stepping on one another, He began saying to His disciples first of all , “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2  But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. 3  Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have [ c ] whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops.

12.16- God’s love is not conditioned upon performance.   God’s love is a covenant or agreement that goes out to all people that declares that He wants all people to be saved. Jesus came to the cross to pour out for us the new covenant in His blood.   Jesus laid won His life for us, His brothers and sisters.   Just a mother goes to the point of death to bring her children into the world, Jesus went to the point of death and beyond it on the cross to bring about the chance for us to be born again into the kingdom of God.  New covenant says that the old covenant had some faults. This covenant is written not on tablets of stone, but in our minds and on our hearts. It is a personal relationship between us and our God.   It is the God that we know.   From the least of His children to the greatest of His children all know Him.   They know Him as merciful and able to forget and not remember their sins.     The blood of goat...

12.4 I am thankful for the cooks who make delicious food presented perfectly, but also for the cooks who make delicious food and don’t wait for a perfect presentation to present it. I am thankful for those who give spiritual food and for those who give delicious thanksgiving food. Luke 10. 38  Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. 39  She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord’s feet, listening to His word. 40  But Martha was distracted with [ q ] all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.” 41  But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; 42  but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”
