 12.16-

Making a positive impact for the good requires reflection on the timing when someone is ready to hear hard words.
We all need someone or even more than one person to tell us what we need to hear that we don't want to hear. But timing is important.
When the best conversations happen someone is able to get this message across to us and deep into our hearts. Where we came from. Where we are going. What we were cut out to do by our maker who is in heaven. We came to earth from there. We go back there.
Our best work here on earth is to help people to get to know him. He cares more about our character and competence than about our comfort. So some of us, fortunately, married people who said words that made us uncomfortable, but helped us.
I miss her today.

John 7
25 So some of the people of Jerusalem were saying, “Is this man not the one whom they are seeking to kill? 26 And yet look, He is speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to Him. The rulers do not really know that this is the [e]Christ, do they? 27 However, we know where this man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.” 28 Then Jesus cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, “You both know Me and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know. 29 I do know Him, because I am from Him, and He sent Me.” 30 So they were seeking to arrest Him; and yet no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come. 31 But many of the crowd believed in Him; and they were saying, “When the [f]Christ comes, He will not perform more [g]signs than those which this man has done, will He?”
