Tell it all. Tell it early. Tell it yourself.

Tell the truth

The thing I notice about Jesus is that He told the truth and He interacted in a good way with those who told the truth.

John 8.

32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

This morning I was listening to the author of a book about handling crisis.  Lanny Davis in his new book, "Crisis Tales" reveals what he has discovered in his vocation of helping major people or institutions in times of trouble.

Tell it all.  Tell it early.  Tell it yourself.

The Bible says the same in James 5.

14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

We get into trouble because we are not healthy in our spirit and soul.  Face the truth.  Go to spiritual people and they will listen to the facts and pray for you and things will turn around to be better.
