In Honor of Judy Kay Fink Adams, 12.11.46 - 2.24.14

Yesterday I lost one of my beloved cousins, Judy Fink Adams.  She and her husband, Richard, were in the restaurant business.  Bodacious Barbeque, the Fish Place and other good eating places were fun places when Judy was there.

Serving people and helping them to have a good time is one of my great memories of Judy.

“Let’s go to The Gap and eat fish.” I loved to hear these words from mom and dad when I was home on vacation.

She attended an Alzhiemers' walk to honor another cousin we lost last year, Joe Wishard.
Whether it was eating a holiday dinner with the whole Fink clan or having some good fish on Friday night in Pecan Gap, Judy was ready to help you enjoy friends and good food.  Catfish, chicken, shrimp, hush puppies and cole slaw along with catching up with your Fannin and Delta county friends.  Could it be better?

I think one of the good things about following Jesus is that He too loved to eat have good times with family and friends, saints and sinners.

Thank you Jesus for giving us someone with the fun and enthusiastic spirit of Judy Fink Adams.  Hope to be re-united with You, Jesus, and your servant Judy Adams when our work is done down here.

Luke 14

12 And He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him, “When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you in return and that will be your repayment. 13 But when you give a [h]reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14 and you will be blessed, since they [i]do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
