Encouragement for older Christians (and younger Christians) Man driving the Jet Ski is about eighty with some younger folks

When my life aligns with God's purposes for me I receive joy.  When I get off track and do my own thing I shoot myself in the foot.

John 15.
⁴ Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
