Things to on a snowy day
Sheila and I were blessed to live in Denver, Colorado, for thirty-three
years. We had many snow days and I enjoyed them until a few of them
together pushed me to move back to Texas for my "retirement years" (no
retirement).
In the last week we went to Denver for the first time together in eighteen months to celebrate some good friends, Jerry and Fern Pierce, on their 60th anniversary.
We returned on one of the last flights to Dallas last night prior to airports being closed. This morning I heard 3,000 flights are cancelled in the DFW area.
So my devo today

Things to do on a snowy day.
Here's what you can do if you are physically active.
Sled down a hill.
Build a snow man.
Have a snowball fight.
Help someone stuck in the snow.
Here's what you can do if you are all and any age with our without physical limits.
A snow day will be a chance to take more time to .
Call a friend and encourage him/her.
Pray for peace.
Dare keep going with something good while being criticized.
Be gentle with those who have fallen down from their best dreams.
Refuse to listen to criticism and slander of those you love.
Do not burden others but lift the burdens of others.
Move to places of fruitfulness.
Give a genuine compliment.
Don't overact to being rejected.
Recommit daily to high morals whether you like high church or low church.
Love your spouse the way God loves you.
Be sure to use your resources to support the poor and those in need.
