Most of us would rather be rich than poor, but there are blessing to poverty and problems to wealth.

There is a blessing to being poor and there is a bad side to being rich.
Poor people with friends know they are there for good reasons and will not leave them if money is not there.
Rich people don't know why exactly their friends are friends.  They might leave when the money is gone.

Luke 6.
20 Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:
“Blessed are you poor,
    For yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are you who hunger now,
    For you shall be filled.


24 “But woe to you who are rich,
    For you have received your consolation.
25 Woe to you who are full,

Wealth makes many friends,
But the poor is separated from his friend.

6 Many entreat the favor of the nobility,
And every man is a friend to one who gives gifts.
7 All the brothers of the poor hate him;
