1.15-Find a way to make the joy you are supposed to have to be easier.
1.15
Are you weak?
Do you want an easier life?
Here is a good answer I think. Let Jesus shape you for your job and your job for you. Let Him carry the heavy loads.
Our highest paid workers seem to be those who destroy themselves healthwise and must retire "early". I heard Mac Brown, the retired coach of the Texas Longhorns say that he was not aware of the pressure to support all the staff coaches for the Longhorns and their wives and their children and be there for them when anything went wrong.
Gary Kubiak of the Denver Broncos was a head coach for only 10 years and after winning the Super Bowl last year had to retire this year for health reasons.
Matthew 11.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Meditate daily on the excellent examples in your career field as to how they seemed to flourish and finish strong. Imitate their ways. Take good care of yourself.
