5.18- Moving from domestic violence to domestic bliss.
5.18
Moving from domestic violence to domestic bliss.
1.
Do not let crowds crowd out your most important
relationships. Children and their mother
and father.
2.
Make sacrifices for the mercy of people, not
just for sacrifice sake. Life is meant
to be pursued as a search for happiness and joy. Humans are built this way. There will be times of tests and challenges
to help us to develop strength.
3.
Get yourself and those you want to help into a
peaceful, healthy relationship with God.
4.
Know that God knows where you are and what you
need and cares for you and loves individually.
5.
Ask for and receive forgiveness and extend it to
those who have hurt you and move forward.
6.
Move out and carry your pallet for future times
of needed rest and recuperation. There
is a rhythm and cycle to movement and rest.
7.
Do not categorize people groups as all bad or
all good. “They” vs “Us” is not good for
us. There is enough bad in the best of
us and enough good in the worst of us that it would be best if none of us would
judge the rest of us.
8.
It is only the honest and guilty who can
understand and appreciate the transforming power of mercy.
9.
Life with the joy of God is a blessing. Appreciate life each day.
Mark 2.
5 And Jesus seeing their faith *said to the paralytic, “[c]Son, your sins are forgiven.” 6 But some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins [d]but God alone?” 8 Immediately Jesus, aware [e]in His spirit that they were reasoning that way within themselves, *said to them, “Why are you reasoning about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven’; or to say, ‘Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’? 10 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—He *said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet and go home.” 12 And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this.”
