7.20-Walk against the tide. Get stronger.
7.20-
I need my legs to gain strength. It is better to move than not move. It is better to move with the current of the river at my pool than to not move at all. It is better to move against the current as long as you can to gain the most strength in the shortest time.
Moving against the tide of the majority has been a way of life I was taught by my parents. They taught us that we were to work to be strong and as wise as possible. They taught us to get a good job and get a good education and strive to be as strong as possible, mentally, physically, emotionally and especially spiritually. This involve choosing every day to be a humble person, but an exceptional person. Be assured your best dreams from God will come true.
A strong person who stands for the truth even when everyone else will not stand for the truth. Stand against the tide and you get stronger and the truth has support in your own heart if no where else.
Matthew 7.
13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Hebrews 11.
11 Now faith is the [a]assurance of things [b]hoped for, the [c]conviction of things not seen.
24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 considering the reproach of [q]Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen.
