8.14-Following Jesus and walking with Him means Him before family. Some will get upset.

Jesus is number one in your life.
Family is number two in your life.
When you choose to follow Jesus there is a leaving of others as your primary guide in life.  Sometimes this will make the family unhappy.  Stick with Jesus number one.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
