9.1-To repent and turn to God to a better life is a complete win, win and win.

9.1-

When people need to change, we who love deeply, must encourage them to change toward the good path.

If they repent and change to the good path, then we need to forgive as we have been forgiven.  This requires a growth in faith from small faith to great faith.

Luke 17.

17 He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that ^[a]stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! ² It ^[b]would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. ^3 [c]Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. ⁴ And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ ^[d]forgive him.”

⁵ The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” ⁶ And the Lord said, “If you ^[e]had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would ^[f]obey you.

Psalm 52.

52 Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man?
The lovingkindness of God endures all day long.
² Your tongue devises destruction,
Like a sharp razor, O worker of deceit.
³ You love evil more than good,
Falsehood more than speaking what is right. ^[c]Selah.
⁴ You love all words that devour,
O deceitful tongue.

^5 [d]But God will break you down forever;
He will snatch you up and tear you away from your tent,
And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah.
⁶ The righteous will see and fear,
And will laugh at him, saying,
⁷ “Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge,
But trusted in the abundance of his riches
And was strong in ^[e]his evil desire.”

⁸ But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God;
I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever.
⁹ I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it,
And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones.
