10.21-Jesus brings freedom of thought and civil discussion to build a great country

10.21-


Jesus comes into a heart and community for the short range goal of peace in the heart of an individual, but on the way to peace in the community there will be times of disagreement and conflict.  This is well known to Jesus and His disciples as a basic reality.  We try to love and disagree without being disagreeable.

Matthew 10.
34 “Do not think that I came to [ac]bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36 and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.
37 “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who has found his [ad]life will lose it, and he who has lost his [ae]life for My sake will find it.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned. Preach and sing the gospel but leave moral slobbery for some group that doesn't abuse children and cover it up and practices racism as a normal thing.
