2.24-Who is good enough?

2.24-

God is love.  God forgives His enemies and let's them start over.  This week I saw an ISIS fighter who had left a certain country and gone to Syria and made war on his country.  He has been defeated and now wants to back to his home country after having made war and trying to kill and killing their soldiers.  They asked him what he thought they should do to him when he got to his home country.  His answer. "Forgive me."

What is the religion of a country where people would go there and ask forgiveness and a start over.

A country where the predominate belief is in Jesus.  Jesus who had a great worker named Stephen who was speaking for him.  A guy names Saul was standing nearby the stoning.  This servant who was wise and well spoken for Jesus was murdered by Saul and his men.

Later Jesus went to Saul in a vision.  "Why are you persecuting me?"  Meaning His church, His people.  He sent Ananias.  He resisted.  This man has been killing our people.  He was converted.  He became the greatest teacher and writer for Jesus cause and his work powers on through his written word for 2,000 years.  Jesus was right to forgive him and give him a fresh start.

All men have sin that makes them dead inside.  There is none good enough.  None Good but God is what Jesus said.

Matthew 19.
And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

Ephesians 2.
And you [z]were dead [aa]in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the [ab]course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, [ac]indulging the desires of the flesh and of the [ad]mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead [ae]in our transgressions, made us alive together [af]with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and [ag]that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
