12.26- We work. We don't retire from work.
12.26-
We work. We don't retire from work.
John 6.
28 Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
We work. We don't retire from work.
We tremble with fear of being aligned with God’s work and
will for our lives.
We respect God as our Father in heaven who has our best in
mind for us.
God works through all of us, not just through the Kings,
Princes and Popes and those in authority over us.
We don’t grumble.
We don’t dispute.
We prove ourselves as blameless and innocent and above
reproach in this crooked and perverse world.
We pour ourselves out as a drink offering to help those around
us.
We rejoice in our work.
We hope you will share your joy in your work with us as
well.
We run into storms in our work and our life. We look for Jesus in the storm and to Jesus
in the storm and not at the wind.
We hear Him say, “Don’t be afraid.”
When we have Jesus near to us then the security is in Him,
not the situation. Situations
change. Jesus does not.
We work for that which endures to eternal life.
Our work is to believe in Jesus sent to earth by our
Heavenly Father. That work continues.
Our Father in heaven is our source, not our work bosses.
Our Father draws people to Himself through the work of all
of His children, not just the young, middle aged and the elderly.
We absorb the life of Jesus as our food and our drink. He worked till His death and through His
death.
Titus 2.
2 But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine. 2 Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in [a]perseverance.
3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may [b]encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.John 6.
28 Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
