 10.19-

Work provides for our food, shelter, medical coverage and much more. If you have a job, be thankful and be content with what you have, but not with your level of knowledge and wisdom. Be a lifelong learner. Tomorrow's jobs will require more training. Pray a little prayer for the 11 million unemployed and underemployed and food and rent insecure. Do all you can to keep your job. Grow into more responsibility when you can. See it as helping more people. Whatever you do, do it with all your heart. Winners at work have something called "Shame resilience" which is fed by wholeheartedness and vulnerability according to researcher Brene' Brown.

Colossians 3.

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
