What is the chief duty of man? Some of the older Christian writings say, "To glorify God and enjoy Him forever." I like that saying. A friend in the water exercise channel reminded me it was also a line in the movie A River Runs Through It.

Phillippians 4.4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is [c]near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all [d]comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Save your political action prayers for the meeting with your win/lose political party, whether you are democrat, republican or independependent as far as I'm concerned.
